On behalf of the St. Michael’s community I warmly welcome you to our school.

I hope that you find our website to be a great source of information for families considering St.Michael’s as a potential learning community for their child, and as an ongoing way to be an integral part of your child’ school life and learning at St. Michael’s for our present families.

St. Michael’s has a long tradition based on the charism of Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy and her words guide us in our vision for our school.

‘The simplest and most practical lesson I know is to be good today but better tomorrow’
Catherine McAuley (1841)

St. Michael's is a warm and inclusive community that aims to provide each child with a world of opportunities to develop their passion for learning. We are committed to nurturing their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social and physical growth.

We encourage all our children to be a contributing voice in the life of our school and at St. Michael's, all members of our community play an integral role in discussing and designing the future direction of our school.

Together with the children, our staff work to create a challenging and stimulating learning environment that is focussed on meeting individual needs, encouraging each child to incorporate their passions and interests into their learning. Together we are life-long learners ready for what the 21st Century has in store for us.

As Principal of St. Michael’s school, I lead a vibrant and professional community that is collaborative, open and centred on life-long learning for all.
Together as a community, we shape our vision and values to provide a
Catholic school of excellence for every child.

I'm looking forward to working with you as a valued member of our St. Michael’s Community.
