INQUIRY BASED LEARNING

A FOCUS ON EXPLORATION AND CREATIVITY

Inquiry Based Learning enables children to ask the big questions related to their passions and interests.

These questions may relate to any of these areas of the curriculum:

• Science
• Health
• Physical Education
• The Humanities
• Civics & Citizenship
• The Arts and
• Technologies.

Students, along with teacher support, identify what they want to know, what they already know and how best they can choose the direction of their learning based on their interests and skills.

Students experience what it is like to think and act like a scientist, historian, engineer, designer or mathematician.

Inquiry is a rich learning experience for teachers and students and we look forward to sharing the wonderful work created through Inquiry Based Learning.
